Education and vocational training have undeniably benefited from digital technology for many years now, as evidenced by the growing development of educational projects incorporating digital technology and the flourishing EdTech ecosystem.
More recently, a new category of tools and methods based on immersive technologies (augmented reality, virtual reality and mixed reality) has emerged, including in the learning sector, under the name Immersive Learning.
Vocational training centres, universities, schools, businesses... Many organisations have already adopted this new learning method, particularly in France.
And yet, until now, there has been no reference document available to describe, decipher and put this sector into perspective.
This is the aim of this book produced by France Immersive Learning, the pioneering association for immersive learning in France, which has been working for more than five years to structure this ecosystem.
